Buick City in Rain Taxi

“If love can be dismantled and reconstituted as liability insurance, stacks of pallets, trailer parks, Fruity Pebbles, and rusting metal (which it turns out it can), then Sarah Carson’s collection of prose poems, Buick City, is a love letter…” writes Penny Guisinger in the latest issue of Rain Taxi!

I couldn’t be more excited that Buick City was reviewed in this new issue.

“The people of Sarah Carson’s city want to work, and work hard, but can’t quite find their way in this place “where the lake meets the liquor store parking lot.” They smoke pot. They sleep with the television on. They tentatively find love. They toil in minimum wage jobs at best. They hope for more,” Penny writes. Check it out here …
